Palmyra Academy of Dance is proud to offer our dancers the opportunity to audition for and participate in our company and production program. This program is designed for students with a unique passion for dance willing to make a greater commitment to their dance training.

 

Students that meet certain criteria can audition for PAoD's Ballet Company, Junior Dance Company, or Kickline Dance Company. Participating students have additional opportunities to perform throughout the dance season in addition to specific company numbers in our end of year show. The opportunity to perform for a PAoD Dance Company or in a Production ensemble is a privilege.

 

We are looking for not only strong dancers, but students with a love for dance and a maturity to understand the commitment required. This is an opportunity for dancers to learn an expansive skill set of choreography where rehearsals are run in a semi-professional manner.

 

Students are expected to attend rehearsals regularly and come ready to learn. Students must be disciplined, practice, and know their choreography. Students must also maintain their modesty and be good role models within our community and for the younger dancers who look up to them. Being a part of a company is much like being a part of a team where the instructors and dancers rely on each other to progress.
